We require that you work through a Limited Company. This company will act as your employer for any assignment that you work on for Dbi. This is standard practice in the industry and has been for a number of years. You may choose to set up your own limited company or use an umbrella organisation. If you want advice on doing either of these options, please refer to the associate section of this website which gives details of where to go and what to do.
We also would like you to opt out of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations (2003) as we believe it benefits you and our clients in the following ways:
- By opting out it may reinforce your protection against IR35
- Distinguishes an Interim from a PAYE candidate who may be more focussed on finding permanent work
- Demonstrates your commitment to a client, as an Interim will have only the client’s best interest at heart.
We are also required by law to obtain the following information from you:
- That you have disclosed any criminal record to us in writing
- That you have never previously been dismissed from employment for Gross Misconduct
- That the information on your CV is accurate; we will require copies of qualification certificates and two employment referees upon request.
